Ellen Yaroshefsky
Ellen Yaroshefsky is Clinical Professor of Law, Executive Director
of the Jacob Burns Ethics Center and Co-Director the Intensive Trial
Advocacy Program at Cardozo Law School in New York City. She
teaches courses in professional responsibility and serves as an ethics
consultant.
For more than twenty-five years Yaroshefsky worked as a criminal
defense lawyer litigating civil rights, and criminal and international
human rights cases. During her tenure as an attorney at the Center
for Constitutional Rights in New York she litigated a wide range
of cases. She is Of Counsel to Hinshaw and Culbertson
handling matters involving the law of lawyering. She lectures frequently
on ethics issues and is a member of numerous state and city committees
and commissions.
