Stanley O. King is a partner at the Law Firm of King & King, LLC. He is engaged in general practice, with an emphasis on civil rights litigation and federal criminal defense. As a civil rights lawyer, Mr. King specializes in police misconduct. He has represented numerous plaintiffs in cases involving excessive force and has obtained multi-million dollar settlements in those cases.
Mr. King has served as Regional Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Conference for Community and Justice and on the Advisory Board of the Philadelphia Youth Entrepreneurial Institute. He was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on New Jersey’s Ethics Committee, the official agency to hear grievances against members of New Jersey’s bar.
Mr. King received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Political Science from Oglethorpe University. He is admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
